Shaykh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi,
one of the greatest scholar of our time, was born in Egypt in
1926. He is the Dean of the faculty of Shariah and Islamic Studies
and the director of the Centre for Sunnah and Sirah Studies
at the University of Qatar. He is also the President of the
European Council for Fatwa and Research (ECFR). Shaykh Yusuf
Al-Qaradawi is a prolific writer and to date has authored over forty-two
books.
