Dr. Tariq Ramadan was born in Switzerland in 1962 into a family of Dawah and Jihad. His late father was the illustrious Egyptian scholar Shaykh Said Ramadan and his Grandfather is none other than the Shaheed, Imam Hasan Al Banna. Through his penetrating and thought provoking lectures throughout Europe and America he is considered by many to be among the leading Muslim intellectuals of recent times.
