Abdul Hakim Quick embraced Islam in 1970 and thereafter perused his studies at the University of Madinah, he completed his BA from the College of Dawah and Usul- al-Din. He read for his Masters degree and completed his PhD on the History of Islam in Africa at the University of Toronto. He served as Imam, teacher and counsellor in the USA, Canada and the West Indies and lectures widely across the world.
