Professor Salim T S Al-Hassani

Salim Al-Hassani is Emeritus Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Manchester Institute of Science & Technology (UMIST), UK. In 1965 he was awarded First Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manchester. Subsequently he did his MSc and PhD in 1969. He worked at British and Middle Eastern Universities and he has published over 180 papers in international journals and books. He has supervised 40 PhD, 48 MSc students and numerous post-doctoral Fellows from various parts of the world.
