MCB Postpones Public Meeting in Support of G20 March

The Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) has postponed its proposed public meeting on Saturday 28th March due to the G20 ‘March for Jobs, Justice and Climate’ in London. The MCB is one of the co-sponsors of the G20 March along with dozens of charities and NGOs including TUC, Christian Aid, World Vision, Unison, Action Aid, Save the Children, Salvation Army and Oxfam.

In order to affirm our support to collective action for common good, the MCB decided that it is important to postpone our meeting and stand shoulder to shoulder with our partners in civil society to fight important issues such as poverty, injustice and climate change.

The MCB calls all its supporters and affiliates who were attending the MCB Public meeting at 11.00 at the Regent’s Park Mosque to fully participate and support the G20 March and make it a success.
